Contribute LLC awards 7% of our profits to organizations that address one or more of the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In 2023, we were delighted to share our profits with two beloved organizations – one global and one local.
Global – Mercado Global received this award for the second year in a row during their annual Fashion Forward Gala. Contribute applauds Mercado Global’s efforts to end poverty and hunger, provide decent work, and educate and empower women in Guatemala and Honduras. Contribute’s CEO, Christine Healey de Casanova, went on a Mercado Global Insight Trip this past June. Upon her return, she told us, “To visit Guatemala for the first time after a decade of watching from afar was life-changing. Local – The YWCA of White Plains and Central Westchester won our hearts and their first Contribute SDG award in 2023! They’re on a mission to eliminate racism and empower women.
